Written by It’s been a long time coming, but my fancy new website is finally here!
It was a cold and stormy night, and I was out wandering the streets with leaflets advertising expert drum lessons in London, like they did back in the olden days. I was tired and wet, and I only managed to give out one leaflet all night. It was then that it struck me – no, not lightning – but the realisation that I needed to get with the times!
That story is not quite true. In fact, it’s not true at all, but it is a fictional version of how I finally realised that we live in a digital age, and so to connect with like-minded people I needed to move online. Since then I’ve had a lot of help from friends setting this up, friends who I actually made through teaching, and for that I’m truly. I suppose that’s what brings me here.
Anyway, I’m rambling. In short, I’m Dave, a pro drummer and drum teacher. I won’t rabbit on too much about myself because you can get to know me by reading my biography or by booking a lesson and chatting with me in person! But, to summarise, I’ve been drumming for close to 20 years and teaching since I was 17. I’ve learnt from and played with the best of the best, and I love getting to know new students, passing on my knowledge and hopefully inspiring them. At the end of the day, if I can inspire the next generation of drummers, then that’s my real job done.
